1. About the Campaign
This campaign provides legal, medical, and financial assistance to victims of communal violence, targeted exploitation, and related injustice. It also strengthens vulnerable Hindu communities by developing trained grassroots volunteers who can document incidents, guide affected families, and connect them with appropriate institutional support.
2. The Problem and the Solution
Victims of communal violence and exploitation often struggle to obtain timely legal representation, medical treatment, financial assistance, and institutional support. Communities from OBC, Dalit, and tribal backgrounds may also lack awareness of legal remedies or access to trained local representatives.
The campaign addresses these challenges by:
- Providing legal advice and representation to affected individuals and families.
- Facilitating urgent medical care and rehabilitation support.
- Offering financial assistance based on verified needs.
- Training grassroots activists from OBC, Dalit, and tribal communities.
- Helping communities document incidents and approach the appropriate authorities.
- Filing evidence-based complaints regarding suspected unlawful activities, including matters involving individuals allegedly associated with banned organisations.
- Following up with legal and administrative authorities to support due process.
Funding will support legal expenses, medical assistance, emergency relief, documentation, volunteer training, travel, and case coordination.
3. Expected Impact and Beneficiaries
The initiative reports having trained thousands of grassroots activists from OBC, Dalit, and tribal communities.
The campaign is expected to:
- Provide timely legal support to victims of communal violence and exploitation.
- Assist affected families with medical care and emergency financial relief.
- Improve access to justice for vulnerable communities.
- Expand a trained network of community-level volunteers.
- Strengthen lawful incident reporting, documentation, and institutional follow-up.
