1. About the Campaign
This campaign supports the Mimamsa Foundation for Indic Studies in developing and maintaining its institutional website and conducting a focused workshop on understanding the Indian caste system through an Indic and research-based perspective.
2. The Problem and the Solution
Public understanding of India’s caste system is often shaped by fragmented information, colonial interpretations, and insufficient engagement with primary sources. At the same time, institutions undertaking Indic research require a credible digital platform to publish their work and engage students, scholars, and the wider public.
The campaign will support:
- Website design and development
- Website hosting and ongoing maintenance
- Publication of research, educational resources, and programme updates
- Planning and conducting a workshop on the Indian caste system
- Engagement with scholars, researchers, students, and interested citizens
- Development of educational and workshop-related materials
3. Expected Impact and Beneficiaries
The project will create a sustainable digital platform for sharing Indic research and educational content. The workshop will enable participants to study the Indian caste system through structured discussions, historical sources, and scholarly perspectives.
Primary beneficiaries will include students, educators, researchers, academicians, and individuals interested in Indian history, society, and civilisational studies.
4. Geographic Area
The website will have a pan-India and international digital reach. The physical location of the proposed workshop has not yet been specified.
