Brhat Education Trust

Bṛhat Educational Trust is a non-profit organisation committed to revitalising Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) by integrating them into education, leadership, and public policy. Serving as a “culture engine,” Bṛhat bridges India’s civilizational wisdom with modern frameworks to create culturally rooted, future-ready learning environments.

Bṛhat aims to:

  • Create narratives, conduct research, and develop IKS-based models in education and ecology.

  • Curate heritage journeys, align media with cultural values, and design NEP-relevant curricula.

  • Consult on NEP-IKS implementation and culturally sensitive leadership frameworks.

Key Programs

  • Firekeepers of Civilisation: With Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, it nurtures deep Indic heritage awareness.

  • Nītividhāna: A course on Indic Public Leadership for practical, culture-aligned governance.

  • Collaborations: MoUs with Chanakya University and others to expand IKS research and education.

Focus Areas

  • Education: Embedding IKS across all levels and disciplines.

  • Psychology: Developing indigenous frameworks for human understanding.

  • Public Policy: Shaping policies rooted in India’s cultural ethos.

Bṛhat also supports institutions in digitising and redesigning curricula to align with IKS principles.
