About the Campaign
Sanatan Siddhashram is a spiritual and educational centre dedicated to preserving the Baul tradition through Guru-Shishya Parampara. Founded by Ma Parvathy Baul, the Ashram brings together Baul sadhana, music, teaching and community life. The construction campaign is focused on creating residential infrastructure for students who wish to learn and practise this living tradition.
The Problem & The Solution
Traditional knowledge systems can weaken when practitioners lack spaces where sustained teacher-student learning can take place. Baul practice is especially dependent on lived transmission—music, sadhana, discipline and relationship with the Guru—not simply on written documentation.
