1. About the Campaign
This campaign provides operational support to Voice of Bangladeshi Hindus, an initiative working to document the challenges faced by Hindu communities in Bangladesh, amplify their concerns internationally, and assist vulnerable families through community-level relief and moral support.
2. The Problem and the Solution
Hindu communities in parts of Bangladesh face reported incidents of intimidation, violence, displacement, religious conversion pressure, and misinformation. Victims and local activists may lack access to institutional support or safe platforms through which their experiences can be documented and shared.
Following recent political changes, the organisation reports that several associated activists have been arrested. It has therefore reduced visible on-ground activities and shifted much of its work to discreet digital documentation and social-media advocacy.
Campaign funds will support:
- Food and essential assistance for vulnerable families
- Moral and emergency support for affected community members
- Secure documentation of reported abuses and injustices
- Verification and translation of information
- Social-media awareness and international outreach
- Online seminars and moderated discussion forums
- Digital security and safe communication
- Essential operational and coordination expenses
The identities and locations of vulnerable activists and beneficiaries will remain confidential for their safety.
3. Expected Impact and Beneficiaries
The project will help:
- Provide immediate assistance to vulnerable Hindu families
- Ensure that reported incidents are safely documented
- Amplify the concerns of Bangladeshi Hindus internationally
- Build public awareness about religious conversions and misinformation
