PROJECT MALABAR

  • It focuses on locating and documenting the history of 300 ancient structures in Kerala which were destroyed during invasions and riots.
  • Located and documented 160 destroyed ancient structures in ruins.
  • All ancient ruins including Vigrahas without heads or legs etc have been videographed and photographed for posterit

  1. Malappuram: 128 villages – 44,94,998 – 3,554 sq km
  2. Palakkad: 152 villages – 29,52,254 – 4,482 sq km
  3. Kozhikode: 106 villages – 32,49,761 – 2,345 sq km
  4. Wayanad: 49 villages – 8,46,637 – 2,130 sq km
  5. Kannur: 123 villages – 26,15,266 – 2,961 sq km
  6. Kasargode: 122 villages – 13,90,894 – 1989 sq km
